My journey into cultural design began with a background in journalism, where I developed a strong eye for detail, storytelling, and cultural observation. Over time, this perspective naturally evolved into a passion for interior aesthetics and heritage-inspired textiles. I came to believe that rugs are more than decorative objects — they carry atmosphere, memory, and character, shaping the emotional identity of a space.

Alongside my journalism education, earning an MBA degree played a significant role in shaping my entrepreneurial mindset. It gave me a deeper understanding of brand development, operations, customer experience, and long-term business strategy. Combining creativity with business structure allowed me to build a brand that values both artistic authenticity and sustainable growth.

This vision eventually led to the foundation of Gordion Carpet Ltd., a United Kingdom–based company with production and operational management rooted in Türkiye, a country deeply connected to textile heritage and craftsmanship. Our collections are inspired by old-world textures, timeless interiors, and the imperfect beauty of lived-in spaces. Rather than following short-term trends, we focus on creating rugs that feel layered, collected, and emotionally resonant.

Every stage of product development, production coordination, and quality control is carefully managed in Türkiye through trusted production partners.
